  • A week after their wedding, Sacramento Wedding Photographers, Teresa and Bree met up with Ann-Marie and Mark for a sunset Trash your dress photo shoot. Thanks to Beth B (of True Love Photo) for suggesting this cool wall to start at. I love this series! The first attempt at 'piggy back' wasn't exactly what we expected - but the laughter was well worth it! Their 2nd attempt was a much bigger success! Click the below image to start the slideshow. Enjoy!

  • Ann-Marie and Mark were married just two weeks ago at Whitney Oaks Golf Club. When Ann-Marie first told me how Mark proposed I just knew this was a special couple. It was on Christmas day in 2007. Mark waited until night-time to propose. He asked Ann-Marie if she was thirsty, to which she replied, "No." He came back a few minutes later with a Jones Soda for himself. She asked him where he got it and he handed it to her with his picture on the front of the bottle kneeling holding a ring. After her initial shock, Mark got down on one knee and proposed!

We're excited to have been able to spend their wedding day with them. It was so unique and fit their personalities so well. The wedding was done up in black and white. Since the wedding was set for mid-day, they had a fun wedding after party planned and their invites matched the tattoo that Ann-Maire has on her shoulder. Teresa and I met up with Ann-Marie at her parents house. I'm really starting to love doing pet photos! and it was great to see Kirsten again (remember we shot Kirsten and Keith's wedding back in 2006!) Kirsten was the officiant for the wedding.Ann-Marie's sock even matched her wedding themed colors! and her and Mark both had their matching shoes to wear!Cory met up with us to shoot the ceremony, which was held at Whitney Oaks Golf Club. Ann-Marie had asked me if I thought they should wear their sunglasses - and I told her "It's your wedding - you should do whatever you want and feel like doing!" The sunglasses were perfect!Ann-Marie and Mark opted to see each other before the ceremony, which I love! It allows for such a relaxing day.Click the below image to begin the slideshow. Enjoy!

  • Last weekend was the first ever Dynamite Weddings Workshop - Ignite your Wedding Style. The event, along with Real Weddings Magazine who hosted their Wedding Class - two events in one - was held at the Citizen Hotel. We were on one floor teaching our workshop, while Real Weddings was on a different floor teaching their class. We couldn't be more pleased with the turnout and the success of the event! Brides and their guests were treated to round table discussions with our Dynamite Vendor experts, work stations with hands-on activities allowed for banter amongst our vendors, when not speaking were sitting amongst our brides. We had more than a dozen expert speakers - all giving our guests glimpses into how to make their wedding a reflection of their personalize style.
We had 5 different tablescapes, photography displays, and gowns - all corresponding to a given theme - for brides to take snapshots of or ask questions to our experts. All dresses provided by Bella Donna Bridal Salon. All linens and table designs provided by Celebrations Party Rentals. All paper goods by Stephanie J Designs. Our Master of Ceremony and all lighting and sound provided by Exquisite Events & Entertainment. Photography of the event provided by The Memory Journalists - Kelly was our awesome photographer!

Kendra, of Pfieffer Event planning, along with Dynamite Wedding provided a yummy candy bar, and Beth Sogaard had a few appetizer tastings during our break. On the way out the door after the event, all brides were given a Dynamite Wedding's Emergency Day-of Kit. All items were donated by our participating vendor experts!

You can't help but love him and he just loves you right back. And he give the best hugs ever! Here he is playing with his new octopus toy - it was a recent gift and he's already trying to get the squeaker out!I took Jen over a bday gift and Sponge was helping with the unwrapping! And he posed so well!Next time I visit my sister, I'll have to take Gracie pictures - as she's another dog that you can't help but love.
